About Gästis
Torsåkers Gästgiveri is so much more than just a restaurant and pizzeria. It is a natural gathering place that can testify to many historical events that have taken place here since the 1800s.
Experience through the inn the idyllic village that during the time of the Aesir in the 1300s came to be named Thorsakir and where metal finds from the year 1 AD have been made. By the way, did you know that it was here the comic characters "Kronblom" and "August and Lotta" were born?

Torsåkers Gästgiveri has roots dating back to the 1800s when Torsåker was its own municipality and the Gästgiveri was a gathering point for both the locals and their traveling guests. Just like back then, the Gästis, as it is now called, is still a gathering point in Torsåker today. Nowadays, visitors come from all over Sweden to enjoy the food, the environment, and the destination. They are greeted by a high-quality restaurant with good service. Here, for example, weddings and family dinners are organized in both large and small sizes. During certain weekends, artists are invited from almost all over the world. In the restaurant, which of course has a full license, everything is served from well-composed à la carte dishes to flavorful traditional dishes.
